The third annual Banana Slug Winter Training Rides will begin in January. We are planning four rides this year. Join us for some adventure.
January 21st - Bear River Ridge
35 mile road ride, 6 miles of gravel
Start: 10:00 AM, Ferndale Fairgrounds
February 11th - Butler Valley
50 mile road ride, some gravel and lots of pot holes
Start: 9:00 AM, Arcata Community Center parking lot
March 3rd - Dyerville Loop
64 mile road ride, 18 miles of gravel
Start: 10:00 AM, Humboldt Redwoods State Park Visitor’s Center, Avenue of the Giants, Weott, CA
April 1st - Tish Tang
20 mile mountain bike ride
Start: 10:00 AM, Horse Linto Campground, Willow Creek

There are no license requirements or event fees, but to participate you must be a 2012 bike club member so join now.

Got out and rode up Monument and over Bear River Ridge to the Wildcat and home. Definitely glad I had compact gearing and was fine with 23c tires on my road bike. Looking forward to the Slug Ride.
